Scores on the AP exam are divided into 5 levels, with level 5 being the highest or equivalent to A+. Passing the exam requires a minimum score of 3.
The AP exam is held annually in May, and the scores are released in July. Students can take the exam without enrolling in any school; hence, homeschooling is an option. International schools offering AP courses can directly register students. Exam time for each subject is around 2-3 hours starting at 8:00 AM. The exam fee for international students is 123 USD.
